Ben, a UK charity supporting people who work or have worked in the automotive industry, needed to improve security at its Lynwood Care Centre in Ascot. Grosvenor Technology was brought in with FTL Secure Solutions after the existing access control setup was found to be outdated, poorly installed, and not networked, forcing staff to re-program 30 keypads whenever access procedures changed.

Grosvenor Technology implemented a 100% browser-based access control system that could be managed from any PC, with hardware that was quick to install and did not require IT specialists. The new solution integrated with the fire system and automatic doors, and added escorted guest functionality for better visitor control. As a result, Lynwood gained simpler day-to-day management, stronger security, and a more intuitive system backed by Grosvenor Technology’s support, helping staff spend more time caring for residents.
