Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG), a luxury hotel operator with over 12,000 employees across 33 hotels and seven residences in 23 countries, faced urgent new wellbeing needs when COVID-19 disrupted operations and colleague wellbeing. MOHG, which had partnered with Grokker in mid‑2019, needed a platform‑based wellbeing solution that could scale rapidly to deliver timely, relevant support to employees worldwide.

Grokker provided a targeted, holistic wellbeing platform delivered via live virtual classes, branded social channels and on‑demand content, supported by local wellness committees and frequent personal check‑ins. Using Grokker, MOHG launched a “Colleague Wellness Week,” delivered more than 60 live events to maximize global coverage, and rolled out a comprehensive wellbeing calendar with monthly themes and challenges—helping the hotel group scale its support, increase engagement, and meet employees’ physical and psychological needs during disruption.
