ELEY, a globally recognized British ammunition manufacturer, faced the challenge of creating a portable smart scoring system for shooting sports. They needed a highly accurate, patent-safe shot detection algorithm and a reliable wireless system that could perform in outdoor conditions. To overcome these challenges, they partnered with the vendor, Grinn.

Grinn developed the complete ELEY x-shot system, which included custom hardware, embedded software, and a mechanical enclosure. The solution featured a proprietary, patent-pending algorithm for shot detection and utilized Grinn's MiniSOM-8M module for processing. The resulting product is an IP65-rated, portable system that provides shooters with real-time scoring and performance tracking, successfully meeting all technical and usability requirements.
