Darn Good Yarn, a DTC brand selling sustainably produced yarn, wanted to move beyond product sales to commission one-of-a-kind patterns from creators and build a reusable library of social content—without overloading their small marketing and legal teams. They needed a way to manage creator contracts, track performance, generate affiliate links/discount codes at scale, and automatically pull creator content; to meet those needs they partnered with GRIN.
GRIN provided its recruiting suite, campaign workroom, email sequences, content library, reporting & dashboard, discount codes & affiliate links, and Shopify integration to automate outreach, rights management, affiliate tracking, and content collection. Over a year the program yielded more than 100 commissioned patterns, 1,400+ pieces of creator content, 1.4M+ impressions, cut legal paperwork in half, significantly reduced work hours, and delivered strong ROI (IMV ROI 127.03x).
