Wendy’s Chain Realizes Significant Cost Savings

Wendy's franchisee Raul Dominguez in south Florida faced rapidly rising energy costs and typical quick‑serve operational challenges — high cooking heat loads, refrigeration needs, and HVAC in a hot climate — and wanted better control over consumption, manual overrides, and equipment monitoring. He evaluated and deployed the GridPoint Energy Management System (with submetering and lighting control) to address these issues across his locations.
