To address this, Chipotle Mexican Grill partnered with GridPoint to deploy its energy management system (EMS), including asset-level submetering, HVAC control, temperature monitoring, and the GridPoint Energy Manager cloud analytics platform.
GridPoint implemented submetering, centralized HVAC control, algorithmic optimization, and services like Control Support and Energy Advisory to continuously monitor, diagnose and tune equipment. As a result, Chipotle Mexican Grill realized consistent energy reductions of over 13% across multiple years, reduced peak usage and operational drift, and lowered service costs by triaging issues remotely through GridPoint’s cloud-based tools.
