Utilizing Clinical Trials to Improve Population Health, Expand Patient Volume and Practice Revenue

PrimeCare, a family and occupational medicine practice with clinics in Dothan, Daleville and Headland, AL, has grown since 1994 to include five physicians and expanded urgent-care services. After implementing Greenway’s PrimeSUITE EHR and practice management system in 2007 to coordinate care and billing, the practice sought ways to engage patients more deeply and improve diagnostics and preventive care without adding overhead.

Participation in six completed trials has driven nearly $50,000 in sponsor revenue, increased patient volume and measurable care improvements—ranging from a life-saving coronary finding to urinary incontinence and chest pain study insights—while advancing clinical pathways and diagnostic capabilities.
