Tribal health clinic achieves 89-90% clean claim rate with Greenway Revenue Services

Southern Oregon’s Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center is a two-site Primary Care Home clinic serving Native American and non-native patients with a broad clinical team. The practice faced unique technology and compliance constraints—data must remain on tribal lands and reporting to IHS, Medicaid and Medicare is complex—resulting in cumbersome, manual billing processes, limited financial visibility, and low confidence in the revenue system.

Cow Creek implemented Greenway’s EHR, practice management, and Greenway Revenue Services for revenue cycle management, creating a collaborative onboarding and knowledge-sharing partnership. The result was immediate operational improvement and better decision-making: charge posting lag dropped to about two days, clean claim rate rose to 89–90%, days in A/R fell to 29, 0–60 aging reached 93%, and billing staff shifted to higher-value managerial work.
