Knoxville Kidney Center, a single-location nephrology practice serving over 5,000 patients with four physicians and two nurse practitioners, aimed to build a full-service, tightly integrated practice—adding on-site radiology, anemia and hypertension clinics, labs and research—while meeting payer quality measures, reducing patient wait times, and capturing meaningful use and PQRS incentives.
