Case Study: Roswell Pediatric Center achieves PCMH recognition and lowers no-show rates with Greenway Health

A Greenway Health Case Study

Preview of the Roswell Pediatric Center Case Study

PCMH program keeps practice on its ‘A’ game

Roswell Pediatric Center, a suburban Atlanta pediatric practice founded in 1987 with 18 providers and about 30,000 patients across three locations, set out to validate its quality and earn Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition. The practice formed a core team to pursue NCQA PCMH status to prove care quality, motivate staff, and qualify for payer incentives while minimizing extra provider workload.

The team updated Prime Suite templates, built custom reports, and used Phreesia for online check-in and screening workflows, focusing on measurable goals (no-shows, HPV completion, spirometry, Vanderbilt testing). After about a year of focused work, Roswell earned NCQA PCMH recognition in September 2018 and lowered no-show rates—example: Alpharetta fell from 3.04% to 1.81%—while improving care coordination, follow-up, and overall patient management.
