Mobile Workflows Enhance Care and Convenience at Pediatric Associates

Pediatric Associates, a large privately owned pediatric practice in the Seattle area (more than 80 providers, seven clinics, and roughly 250,000 visits annually), needed better mobile workflows to speed information access, improve collaboration across clinic, hospital rounds, and on-call work, and meet patient expectations for a technology-rich experience — all while protecting protected health information and simplifying IT management.

To address this, the practice piloted Greenway’s PrimeMOBILE for Windows 8 on Intel-based tablets and Ultrabooks integrated with its PrimeSUITE EHR. The touch-optimized app and Windows split-screen enabled fast chart access, side-by-side multitasking, and flexible input methods while IT retained enterprise security and management (Secure Boot, BitLocker, Active Directory). The result was faster, more efficient care and documentation, improved collaboration and patient engagement, and a broader rollout into production.
