Early Adopter Pioneers Mobile Care Coordination

East Lake Pediatrics, a two-location pediatric practice in Palm Harbor and Trinity, FL, has been an early EHR adopter, implementing Intergy before opening in 2004. As the practice expanded, it needed better coordination among multiple providers and secure remote, after-hours access to patient records to improve outcomes and responsiveness.

To address this, East Lake joined a pilot for Intergy Mobile, the tablet companion to Intergy EHR, giving providers HIPAA‑compliant access to schedules and clinical data on the go. The mobile solution improved care coordination for on-call physicians, enabled ePrescribing and prescription renewals in as few as four taps, and streamlined workflow for faster, more efficient patient care.
