Delivering Better Care to the Medically Underserved: HealthLinc Community Health Center

HealthLinc Community Health Center is a federally qualified health center serving about 18,855 patients across five locations in Northwest Indiana with roughly 75,000 annual visits. As it grew to meet the needs of medically underserved and uninsured populations, HealthLinc needed a community‑health–specific, integrated EHR/PM with robust reporting and easy clinician workflows to make clinical and administrative processes more efficient.

HealthLinc implemented Intergy CHC and used Greenway’s training, including a virtual Hands‑On Lab, to capture, report and analyze data in real time. The results included nearly 98% claims acceptance, attestation for Meaningful Use Stage 1 in 2012, and a $500,000 federal grant to deploy a mobile, EHR‑equipped school clinic—expanding population health services with ePrescribing and eReferral capabilities.
