Russell Farms saves $72,000 in year 1 with GreenSpark Solar

Russell Farms, a sixth-generation fruit and vegetable farm in New York, faced the challenge of rising electricity costs for its cold storage facilities. To address this, the farm worked with vendor GreenSpark Solar, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner, to implement a rooftop solar solution.

GreenSpark Solar installed a 750 kWDC rooftop solar system for Russell Farms. The project was supported by key incentives and is estimated to save the farm $72,000 in its first year and $2.5 million over 25 years, providing significant long-term financial and environmental benefits.
