General Motors installs a 465kW solar array with GreenSpark Solar

General Motors, as part of its commitment to using 100% renewable energy by 2050, contracted with GreenSpark Solar for the development, design, and installation of a solar array at its plant in Rochester, NY.

GreenSpark Solar implemented a 465kW solar array consisting of over 1,500 panels and 15 inverters. The vendor also secured a grant for the project through the NY-Sun Initiative. This solution supports General Motors' environmental goals and contributes to lowering energy costs. GreenSpark worked with a partner, Meridian Solar, to develop and construct the project.
