Farmers Union Insurance, Montana’s largest property and casualty insurer with 58 agents across 65 locations, needed to move off on‑premise Microsoft Dynamics SL to a cloud environment and find a compatible payroll solution after selecting Microsoft BC. Facing manual payroll processes, printed and mailed paystubs, limited remote access, and tight budget constraints, they chose Greenshades Software and its Payroll and Self Service Employee Documents to modernize payroll and employee access.

Greenshades Software implemented a cloud-based payroll and self-service portal, and by early 2023 Farmers Union was running payroll through the new system.
