Stagecoach Group Chose Greenroad As Part Of Its $15m Sustainability Program

Stagecoach Group, a leading international public transport operator in the UK, US and Canada, set a sustainability goal to cut annual fleet CO2 emissions as part of a $15m Ecodriver program. To meet this challenge, Stagecoach Group selected GreenRoad Technologies and implemented the GreenRoad Full Suite to improve driver behavior, reduce idling and lower fuel use across its large bus and coach operations.

GreenRoad Technologies deployed its driver performance and idling solutions across 116 depots, improving safety and fuel efficiency while smoothing rides for passengers. The GreenRoad rollout drove a 60% drop in driver safety risk, increased the share of drivers meeting safe, fuel-efficient scores to as much as 20% (vs. a typical 5%), and put Stagecoach on target to cut fuel consumption by about 4%, while reducing vehicle wear-and-tear.
