Securitas Belgium Uses Greenroad to Reduce Accidents, Minimise Co2 Emissions and Protect Its Brand

Securitas Belgium, the Brussels-based branch of the world’s largest security company, needed to improve driver safety while also reducing accidents, CO2 emissions, maintenance costs, and brand risk across its mobile fleet. After being introduced to GreenRoad Technologies’ driver safety and telematics solution, the company deployed it first on Peugeot 207 vehicles and then across its full operational fleet.

GreenRoad Technologies equipped Securitas Belgium’s cars and vans with in-cab monitoring, real-time feedback, driver Safety Scores, a mobile app, and the GreenRoad Central™ management portal. The results were strong: driver safety increased by 72%, accidents fell by 49%, and fuel use and CO2 emissions dropped by about 10%; speeding events also fell from nearly 45,000 to under 1,000 per month and stayed there for over two years.
