Schlumberger, a global oil & gas field services provider operating in more than 70 countries, faced significant road-safety challenges managing thousands of employees and contractors driving in hazardous conditions and had terabytes of underused driver data. To digitize and improve driver safety, Schlumberger selected GreenRoad Technologies and deployed GreenRoad’s Driver Self‑Coaching mobile app (GreenRoad DRIVE™) and IVMS driver monitoring/training solutions.

GreenRoad Technologies rolled the solution out across Schlumberger’s fleet within 12 months, delivering real-time driver feedback and integrating Waze and weather data into a single platform used for both safety and fleet operations (routing, resource allocation, optimization). Over an 18‑month period Schlumberger reported a “staggering change” in driver behavior, widespread deployment across many thousands of drivers, measurable reductions in road risk, and an ongoing partnership with GreenRoad to develop additional applications.
