Case Study: Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers achieves a secure virtualized network with GreenPages Technology Solution

Migration from Physical to Virtual Servers; Upgraded Network and Email Management Systems; Improved Security for Remote Users

The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, which supports 52 community health centers across Massachusetts, needed to modernize aging Active Directory and Exchange systems, replace outdated physical servers, and improve security for remote employees. With support from GreenPages Technology Solution, the organization also wanted a more cost-effective way to manage its small but widely distributed network of about 50 users.

GreenPages Technology Solution built a new virtualized environment using VMware vSphere, upgraded the League to Active Directory 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010, and migrated key services from old physical servers. The solution added virtual templates, a Fortinet firewall, secured VPN access, snapshots, and failover redundancy, improving security and administration while reducing hardware, power, and cooling costs.
