The George Washington University (GW) engaged GreenOrbit to help the Division of Development and Alumni Relations — a 200‑person team spanning multiple campuses — address chronic email overload and the need for a single source of truth. Prior to GreenOrbit, staff were inundated with department‑wide emails and struggled to find timely fundraising and alumni‑relations information; GW implemented the GreenOrbit intranet (branded as “DAR Connect”) to centralize communications and resources.

GreenOrbit delivered a central intranet with News on the homepage, Online Forms, a Culture subsite (including “DAR Stars”), and a Campaign Update area that tracked monthly tallies and stored case statements. The platform shifted communications off inboxes and into one accessible hub, supported GW’s Making History Campaign (which raised $1 billion from more than 65,000 donors), streamlined event and leadership requests, and strengthened team culture — outcomes GW credits to their partnership with GreenOrbit.
