RSPCA created a central hub for communications providing real time information, news & forms

RSPCA, a not‑for‑profit protecting animal welfare across 10 shelters, four veterinary hospitals, two Care Centres, 28 volunteer branches and 31 inspectors on the road, faced fragmented communications and outdated information systems. Before engaging GreenOrbit, email was the primary (and often ineffective) channel, documents lived in a difficult in‑house SharePoint, and many staff were non‑desk workers who didn’t regularly access work email. The CEO mandated a single “source of truth,” and RSPCA selected the GreenOrbit intranet to centralize communications and content.

GreenOrbit implemented a turnkey intranet—centralized document management, GreenOrbit News for real‑time broadcasts, Online Forms to automate processes (IT help, staff updates, training, animal story submissions) and a Profile Directory powered by Active Directory. With GreenOrbit’s implementation support RSPCA launched in three months and rolled the platform out to 500+ users, giving staff instant access to current SOPs, training and adoption metrics, reducing reliance on email and speeding content capture and internal collaboration across the organization.
