PayFit, a scale-up focused on simplifying payroll and HR management, wanted to better understand and measure its environmental impact as part of its climate commitment. To do this, it turned to Greenly to carry out an initial greenhouse gas assessment and identify how digital technology and other business activities contributed to its carbon footprint.

Using Greenly’s carbon accounting solution, PayFit quickly mapped its main emission sources and gained a first overview of its impact, with Scope 3, digital activities, and fixed assets emerging as key areas. The assessment quantified PayFit’s footprint at 2,419 tCO2e/year for 2021, giving the company a concrete basis to build its reduction plan and begin its Net Zero trajectory with its first badge.
