How did Greenly enable Alter Way to commit to managing its digital footprint

Alter Way, a responsible digital services company, wanted to better understand and reduce the environmental footprint of its hosted infrastructure and cloud services. To do this, it partnered with Greenly, using Greenly’s carbon footprint measurement solution to assess the impact of its digital operations.

With Greenly, Alter Way measured the carbon impact of infrastructures hosted in its data centers and by cloud partners such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Scaleway. The solution also enabled Alter Way to offer each client a carbon footprint measurement for their managed infrastructure, helping quantify its 2020 emissions at 258 tCO2e/year and supporting a more transparent, lower-impact digital offering.
