Abu Dhabi Cricket wanted to boost awareness and fan engagement for its 2021 T10 League tournament by sharing real-time photos and videos at scale across social media. Working with Greenfly, the league needed a faster, more reliable way to distribute hundreds of assets from multiple matches and collect original content from players and staff, instead of relying on manual texting, emailing, and cloud links.
Greenfly served as Abu Dhabi Cricket’s media exchange hub, integrating with PhotoShelter to quickly curate and push approved images to more than 60 advocates through Greenfly’s mobile app. The platform helped the team distribute edited images in just over a minute on average and share 12,000+ match photos in ten days, contributing to a 191% increase in Instagram follower growth rate and stronger visibility for the tournament and its players.
