A Greater Giving Case Study
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire provides temporary housing and support for families of seriously ill children and relies on signature fundraisers like Wine, Women & Shoes — a marketplace, fashion show, raffles and live auction that draws over 500 guests. Managing multiple vendors, peer-to-peer fundraisers (“Shoe Guys”), in‑event sales and accurate tracking across activities had become complex, so RMHC sought a single, mobile-friendly system to centralize people, projects and real-time information.
RMHC implemented Greater Giving’s event software, which volunteers found easy to learn and use on iPads and iPhones for ticketing, raffles, auctions and peer-to-peer pages. Centralizing operations reduced errors and stress and sped access to data; the event grossed $200,000, processed over $100,000 through the platform the night of the event, and was voted “Best Charity Event in Savannah” in 2018 and 2019.
