First Tee - Customer Case Study

First Tee – South Puget Sound is a youth development nonprofit that uses golf to teach life skills. Facing the need to diversify its donor base, create more frequent touchpoints, and deliver a seamless, engaging event experience, the organization sought to increase participation and donor engagement while preserving event quality.

They launched a women-focused “Tee Up & Wine Down” event and optimized the Harbottle Golf Classic with D&K Events, bundling all‑in‑one fees and using Greater Giving’s software for online bidding, ticketing, auction management, and reporting to streamline check‑in and post‑event follow up. The approach paid off: Tee Up & Wine Down raised $21,000 (net $13,000) with 104 attendees, while the Harbottle Classic generated over $200,000 (net $150,000) with 144 golfers (up to 180 at dinner), broadening their supporter base and boosting donor engagement.
