Breast Cancer Resource Center - Customer Case Study

The Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) supports Central Texans affected by breast cancer with free programs and relies heavily on its signature fundraiser, Art Bra® Austin—a juried runway show and auction that grew from a volunteer run event into a production attended by ~850 guests and run by a staff of two. As the event added live and silent auctions, peer-to-peer model fundraising, themed games and pre-sales, the many moving parts overwhelmed staff and volunteers, creating a clear need to automate bidding, donations and ticketing.

BCRC adopted Greater Giving’s integrated platform—mobile bidding, Join Me peer-to-peer pages for models, and built-in ticketing—so attendees and remote donors could bid and give easily while staff managed fewer manual tasks. The results: tickets sold out, popular items like Kendra Scott lock boxes sold in pre-sale, models raised over $100,000, Art Bra® Austin broke all previous records, and the event raised over $680,000, allowing staff to focus more on fundraising and add new events.
