Art in the Loft is a rural Michigan nonprofit that grew from a pop-up gallery into a full-fledged arts organization whose fall fundraiser, “Glamour and Gourmet,” generates about 40% of its annual revenue. The event had become bogged down by an avalanche of paper—bid sheets, invoices and thank-you letters—and crowded silent-auction tables that kept guests from bidding, making event organization labor-intensive and time-consuming.
Art in the Loft implemented Greater Giving’s all‑in‑one event software, adding online registration, digital item cataloging and mobile bidding with photos and descriptions. The switch eliminated paper, eased checkout, let guests bid from anywhere, improved donor communications, enabled searchable reporting, and increased silent-auction participation and overall revenue while saving significant staff time.
