A A Great Idea Case Study
Seattle Public Utilities collaborated with vendor A Great Idea to create static installations that would thoughtfully engage pedestrians on the critical topics of race and social justice. Their challenge was to devise a passive yet compelling method to entice people to stop and reflect on this content without being overly verbose or demanding too much of their time.
A Great Idea designed a solution of interlocking tower panels featuring high-contrast visuals, concise text, photographs, and infographics to grab attention and facilitate easy scanning. The result was an award-winning gallery walk that successfully engaged passersby. Additionally, A Great Idea's work supported a "Dream Phase" workshop report, which fostered person-to-person interactions for 60 employees to address racism and inequality within the Seattle Public Utilities workplace.
