Dogwood Alliance drives pushback across Mississippi, Georgia, and North Carolina with A Great Idea

Dogwood Alliance, a regional environmental advocacy group, faced a challenge in their grassroots campaigns against harmful wood pellet mills across the Southeast. They lacked the high-quality print and digital materials needed to effectively mobilize communities and communicate complex environmental harms. To address this, they partnered with the vendor A Great Idea for design and production services.

A Great Idea implemented a solution by creating a suite of professional advocacy materials, including billboards, flyers, brochures, and event assets. These field-ready tools were designed to be visually compelling and to amplify the voices of the frontline communities disproportionately impacted by the mills. The result was a successful pushback against pellet mill expansion in Mississippi, Georgia, and North Carolina, significantly elevating Dogwood Alliance's regional credibility and supporting local organizers.
