Running a large-scale, multi-site mentorship program

IntoUniversity, a British not-for-profit organization with 35 centers across the UK, needed a scalable way to run career mentoring for its 7,000 contactable alumni and 60–70 mentees per year. Working with Gravyty and its Graduway-based platform, IU Connect, the team also needed to simplify mentor recruitment, matching, training, and ongoing program management while keeping online communication organized and safe.

Gravyty helped IntoUniversity implement a structured mentoring program with two five-month cycles per year, including baseline and endline questionnaires, manual participant matching, onboarding documents, reminders, and platform analytics. The result was a smoother, more measurable program that could be run with just one full-time staff member and one ad hoc support person, while delivering strong engagement: 32 people were in touch, 10 milestones were reached, and 1,000 messages were sent, with students reporting very positive mentoring experiences and easy-to-use communication.
