A Gravyty Case Study
Iolani School, a K-12 school in Honolulu, Hawaii, wanted to launch its first-ever giving day and engage a large alumni base of more than 11,000 reachable contacts. The school turned to Gravyty and its Advance platform to help plan and run the campaign, with the challenge of motivating donors, volunteers, parents, students, faculty, and alumni to participate.
Using Gravyty’s Advance platform, Iolani School recruited more than 300 ambassadors, coordinated social sharing, and used live updates, challenges, and targeted goals to build momentum throughout the day. The result was 4,000 gifts toward a target of 1,863, raising $1.6 million and exceeding the goal by 115%; Gravyty’s platform was also praised for being easy to use and for helping strengthen loyalty and commitment to the school.
