Lycée Français de New York, an independent bilingual French-English school in New York City with about 10,000 alumni worldwide, wanted to build an alumni engagement strategy from scratch after relying mainly on email lists and occasional in-person reunions that were difficult to scale globally. The school needed a better way to reconnect with lost alumni, support mentoring, and help students and graduates network across countries and time zones, so it chose Gravyty’s Graduway platform.
With Gravyty’s Graduway, Lycée Français de New York launched a branded digital alumni community, used targeted email, website, Facebook, and event campaigns to drive signups, and enabled alumni to update their own profiles and engage more easily online. The school reported strong early momentum, including 200 registrants from an online launch party, 10 from an online graduation event, 60 from an announcement email, and 30 from a yearbook campaign, while also improving data accuracy, making a one-person alumni office more efficient, and enabling mentoring and community connections without needing reunions in New York City.
