BLC Petrol and Water Works needed a better way to track and reconcile fuel and water deliveries for more than 700 accounts in Black Rock City. Manual entry for each delivery, along with post-event collections work, created a heavy workload for the small team and left hundreds of thousands of dollars unpaid after the event.

Gravity Payments developed a self-service portal for BLC Petrol and Water Works that integrated directly into Burning Man’s Fulcrum POS and stored credit card information securely for real-time charging. Gravity Payments said the portal led to a 99.6% reduction in accounts going to collections, while also reducing manual work and helping transactions process in real time.
