360clean is a national facility-care company specializing in janitorial, maintenance and landscape services, built around its “cleaning for health” approach to protect employees and clients. As the company and its franchises grew, managing and documenting remote teams’ attendance and ensuring consistent quality across dispersed client sites became difficult without being physically present at each location.
To solve this, 360clean implemented Grasshopper as a timecard system: employees call an “employee time center” extension from the client’s office phone and leave voicemails when clocking in and out, which are timestamped, include caller ID and are transcribed and emailed as audio files. The system eliminated physical time clocks, provided verifiable payroll records and real-time mobile access to attendance, improved confidence that staff were on site and spending the correct amount of time, and has been adopted company-wide across franchises.
