ANO Sports Broadcasting Selects Grass Valley Routers and Kahuna 360 Switchers for 2014 Russian Winter Olympics

ANO Sports Broadcasting, also referred to as Panorama, was faced with the challenge of building a massive, state-of-the-art broadcast complex to provide HDTV coverage for major international sporting events, including the 2014 Russian Winter Olympics. They required a multivendor production platform and needed to equip 12 outside broadcast vehicles with technology that was both cutting-edge and future-proof, capable of keeping up with the latest broadcast developments.

Grass Valley provided their Kahuna 360 multiformat production switchers and Sirius 840 routers to outfit nine of Panorama's OB vehicles. This Grass Valley solution was selected for its state-of-the-art technology, reliability, and flexibility, which were deemed critical for the high-visibility events. The systems ensured the customer received maximum value and utility from their investment for the Olympics and beyond.
