Yuangou Architects faced the challenge of designing the Yunshan Town Complex, a two-building tourism project in Chongqing, China, in a rural mountain setting that was very different from its usual urban work. Using Graphisoft’s Archicad and BIMcloud, the team needed a way to coordinate design iterations remotely during the pandemic while keeping 2D and 3D views aligned.

Graphisoft’s solution enabled Yuangou Architects to synchronize models, quickly share new versions, and collaborate more intuitively across locations. BIMx also helped the team communicate construction details on site using an iPad, improving understanding of complex elements and supporting smoother execution; the project was completed in 2019 as a 9,200 ㎡ complex.
