Yuangou Architects completes 9,200 ㎡ Yunshan Town Complex with Graphisoft

Yuangou Architects, an architectural firm in China, faced the challenge of designing an unusual rural tourism complex that needed to harmonize with a scenic mountain valley. Their team, more accustomed to urban projects, required an efficient way to develop the complex natural forms and collaborate effectively, especially while working remotely. They turned to Graphisoft's Archicad and BIMCloud for their BIM solution.

Using Graphisoft's tools, the team synchronized 2D and 3D views to smoothly iterate on the design and co-create files remotely via BIMCloud. During construction, they employed Graphisoft's BIMx on iPads to visually communicate complex details to the crew on-site, ensuring accurate execution of the unique architectural forms. This digital collaboration platform allowed the project, the Yunshan Town Complex, to be successfully completed in 2019.
