TRAWCOE, a European Commission-funded learning partnership led by EK Association, faced the challenge of creating a new educational method for teaching traditional timber construction across seven countries. The project needed an engaging way to present historic carpentry structures online, using tools such as Graphisoft’s Archicad and BIM-based workflows.

Graphisoft helped TRAWCOE build an online virtual museum and learning platform with nine 3D modelled buildings, connected technical and historical content, and browser-based access through Play TRAWCOE. The solution supported multilingual, interactive learning and multi-user collaboration, resulting in a reusable prototype and educational resource that made complex timber assemblies easier to explore without additional software.
