Spinn Arkitekter, a Norwegian architecture firm known for innovative school design, faced the challenge of delivering Bamble Junior High School in Stathelle as a sustainable, all-wood secondary school while keeping the project competitively priced. Working with Graphisoft’s Archicad, the team needed a digital workflow that could support fast concept development, accurate area control, and collaboration across multiple offices.

Graphisoft’s Archicad helped Spinn Arkitekter move quickly from sketches to 3D/BIM models, track areas and costs early, and translate complex facade patterns into production-ready models. The solution enabled efficient design and teamwork, supported a priceable cross-laminated timber concept, and contributed to a completed 14,633 m² school finished in 2021 with a sustainable design approach and strong coordination throughout the project.
