Residencial Poniente delivers a 19,900 m2 BIM residential project with Graphisoft

Residencial Poniente, a residential project designed by the architecture studio Maese Luis 24, faced the challenge of designing and coordinating a very large-scale building that needed to harmonize with two contrasting urban realities. To manage this complexity, the studio turned to vendor Graphisoft and adopted its BIM software, Archicad, seeking a tool that was logical and efficient for architectural workflows.

The solution centered on implementing Graphisoft's Archicad for its ease of use and robust data handling, which allowed the studio to efficiently manage repeated modular units and coordinate the large project. The use of Graphisoft's BIMx tool improved design communication, and interoperability via IFC files enhanced collaboration with other disciplines. The studio was very satisfied with the results, achieving a harmonious design and handling a project scale that would otherwise have been very difficult to manage.
