Ikeda Architecture, a Yokohama-based interior and retail design firm, needed to renovate multiple Itoya store locations at the same time under an extremely tight schedule. The project involved complex floor swaps, detailed furniture design, and frequent client revisions, making it difficult to communicate concepts clearly and get approvals quickly. To handle the challenge, Ikeda Architecture used Graphisoft Archicad and BIMx.

Graphisoft’s Archicad enabled Ikeda Architecture to develop the design in 3D from schematic through detailed design, create renderings and walk-throughs early, and respond quickly to changes during client meetings. As a result, the firm met all deadlines with no construction delays, the client was highly satisfied, and the team improved communication and approval speed while building a reusable 3D object database for future renovations.
