CPU Pride delivers a 4,000-seat gymnastics center in less than a month with Graphisoft

The Russian architecture firm CPU Pride sought to design the complex Irina Viner-Usmanova Rhythmic Gymnastics Center in Moscow, requiring a comprehensive BIM solution to coordinate numerous specialists and implement a unique, ribbon-like roof design. Their challenge was to manage an open BIM workflow across multiple disciplines using different software platforms without hiring additional specialists.

Using Graphisoft's Archicad as the central architectural BIM platform, along with its BIMx mobile app and Teamwork feature, CPU Pride coordinated the entire project. This open BIM approach, utilizing IFC for data exchange, allowed seamless collaboration with engineers using other software, enabled clash detection that identified thousands of errors, and streamlined the process from concept to construction documentation. The solution from Graphisoft helped CPU Pride win the national "BIM 2016" competition, complete the project with its existing team, and ensure the constructed building matched the original architectural vision exactly.
