Cottee Parker Architects, an Australia- and New Zealand-based practice, needed to manage and collaboratively deliver the highly complex, city-shaping West Side Place skyscraper development over an eight-year timeline. Their challenge was coordinating a large, dispersed team and numerous consultants while communicating intricate designs to the client and ensuring constructability. They relied on their long-term vendor, Graphisoft, specifically using Graphisoft Archicad and Graphisoft BIMcloud.

The solution centered on using Graphisoft Archicad as the core BIM model and Graphisoft BIMcloud for seamless multi-office collaboration. This Graphisoft ecosystem allowed up to 40 team members to work concurrently, integrated consultant data, and enabled 3D walkthroughs and VR for client communication. The result was the successful delivery of the massive 420,000 sqm project, with efficient workflows that kept the project on time and managed the complex fabrication and installation of building components.
