BESSARDs’ Studio, a small Copenhagen-based architecture and research practice, needed to keep a holistic, craft-led workflow while taking full responsibility for projects from concept through construction. Their challenge was to control quantities and budgets early, avoid cookie‑cutter solutions that external consultants struggle to price, and enable architects to move seamlessly between big-picture design and fine detailing — needs they addressed using Graphisoft tools such as ARCHICAD and BIMx.

Graphisoft delivered a unified BIM workflow with ARCHICAD (and BIMx for visualization/VR), letting the studio work in 3D from start to finish in a single model. The solution produced more accurate early cost estimates, significant time savings in project delivery, and better communication with developers and contractors, giving BESSARDs’ Studio tighter control over budgets and a stronger, more consistent holistic design process.
