Archietects Soini & Horto Ltd led the architectural design for Tripla, a 355,000 sqm, €1 billion mixed‑use development in Helsinki that required Common BIM Requirements (CoBIM) level‑3 coordination across more than 100 designers and some 300 stakeholders. The project’s scale, multi‑discipline workflows and strict IFC/OPEN BIM exchange needs created challenges around model size, real‑time collaboration and cross‑team communication — problems addressed using Graphisoft tools, primarily ARCHICAD with OPEN BIM workflows.

Graphisoft’s ARCHICAD (with Teamwork/BIMcloud and IFC support) was used to split the project into three main models, integrate IFC/DWG inputs from other disciplines, and enable weekly/bi‑weekly Solibri model checks for quality control. This approach kept Teamwork file sizes manageable, provided a single cloud repository for over 300 users, reduced communication errors and allowed early conflict detection, helping Archietects Soini & Horto Ltd meet CoBIM level‑3 requirements and successfully coordinate the large, multi‑stakeholder Tripla delivery.
