Why Grafana Enterprise is at the “heart” of Informatica’s observability strategy

Informatica, a 6,000+ employee software and technology company, needed a centralized way to monitor and troubleshoot a highly distributed multi-cloud environment spanning hundreds of VMs and Kubernetes clusters. To create a single source of truth for its internal and customer-facing platforms, Informatica turned to Grafana, starting with Grafana OSS and later expanding to Grafana Enterprise.

With Grafana Enterprise, Informatica standardized observability across more than 1,200 dashboards and 150 data sources, while gaining features like Team Sync, Report Scheduling, Dashboard Insights, and Data Source Insights. Grafana helped Informatica reduce MTTR by roughly 60%, save about $500K annually through a Kubernetes cost optimization dashboard, and improve team productivity with faster troubleshooting and better dashboard usage visibility.
