Why Clearco switched to Grafana Alerting, Grafana OnCall, and Grafana Incident

Clearco, the world’s largest e-commerce investor, needed a better way to catch outages and incidents before internal teams found them first. After using Grafana for dashboards, the company wanted a more unified observability and alerting approach, and evaluated Grafana Cloud as a potential single source of truth for monitoring.

Clearco implemented Grafana Cloud’s Incident Response and Management suite, including Grafana Alerting, Grafana OnCall, and Grafana Incident. The move improved alert routing, reduced confusion during incidents, and helped standardize response workflows by automatically creating Slack channels, Google Meet rooms, and postmortems; about 50% of Clearco’s 40-person engineering team were actively using Grafana Cloud features within six months.
