Reducing MTTR with Grafana Cloud Inside ASOS’ observability stack

ASOS, the London-based online fashion and beauty retailer, needed better observability across a large, microservices-based environment as it scaled on Azure. After earlier challenges with latency, slow incident investigation, and observability gaps in customer-facing journeys, ASOS turned to Grafana to help deliver real-time visibility and faster response times.

With Grafana Cloud, including Grafana Cloud Metrics, Kubernetes Monitoring, and Grafana SLO, ASOS centralized dashboards, reduced query timeouts, and improved end-to-end insight across its systems and Kubernetes clusters. The result was lower MTTR, less alert fatigue, significant cost savings by shifting data to Prometheus-format metrics, and broader adoption across roughly 800 engineers.
